Continuing Education Requirements
View official PDF ↗(a)Except as provided elsewhere in this Article or by rules and regulations adopted by the Board for a specific profession, a minimum of thirty
(30)credit hours of continuing education within each two
(2)year licensure period is required of each licensee to qualify for a renewal. At least twenty
(20)of these credit hours must be in the licensee’s specific area of practice. The Board is authorized to prorate the continuing education credit hours requirement for licenses issued less than two
(2)years prior to the renewal period.
(b)The determination of what constitutes acceptable or authorized continuing education credit hours shall be determined by the Board by rules and regulations adopted by the Board in accordance with the Administrative Adjudication Law.
