The rules for using Territorial Review’s public archive and professional research services.
These Terms govern your access to Territorial Review and its paid services (collectively, the “Service”). The Service is offered and billed by Dizon Strategies Inc. By creating an account, using the Service, or purchasing a subscription, you agree to these Terms.
Territorial Review is a research and information service. It is not a law firm, does not provide legal advice, and does not create an attorney-client relationship. Search results, summaries, generated answers, citations, procedural materials, and alerts may be incomplete, outdated, or incorrect.
You are responsible for reviewing primary sources, citator information, court rules, filing requirements, and all work product before relying on or submitting it. Procedures may identify a source-backed time period or trigger, but it does not autonomously calculate, infer, or calendar a deadline from Matter events. The Service does not replace professional judgment.
You must provide accurate account information, keep your credentials secure, and promptly notify us of suspected unauthorized access. A subscription is for the subscribing user or authorized firm workspace. You may not resell access, share credentials outside that workspace, interfere with the Service, scrape it at scale, evade usage or access controls, or use it unlawfully.
You retain ownership of materials you upload and content you submit. You grant us a limited license to host, process, transmit, and reproduce that content only as needed to operate, secure, support, and improve the Service. This limited license does not transfer ownership or authorize us to use professional workspace content to train a general-purpose AI model.
You represent that you have authority to submit the content. You are responsible for professional-responsibility, confidentiality, privilege, protective-order, and data-handling obligations. Do not submit information that you are not permitted to provide to a hosted service or its processors.
When you use document event extraction or submit a generated-answer request, relevant content is temporarily transmitted to service providers as described in the Privacy Policy. Procedure query text and limited recent context are processed by the retrieval provider; if you select a Matter, content sent to the answer provider includes only the documents, saved authorities, and attorney-confirmed event text you select for that question. The feature fails closed unless the configured retrieval-provider opt-out is confirmed. A chat is not saved automatically. Saved chats remain private to their creator. Choosing File to Matter shares an immutable answer, findings, status, source manifest, and metadata-only authority references with current Matter members. A directly attached session PDF cannot support filing until its original is added to the Matter and the answer is rerun.
Paid subscriptions are billed in U.S. dollars through Stripe. The price, billing interval, and applicable taxes are shown before purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically for the selected monthly or annual interval until canceled. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period. Our Refund & Cancellation Policy is incorporated into these Terms.
The Service’s software, design, organization, original editorial content, and branding belong to Dizon Strategies Inc. or its licensors. Court opinions, statutes, rules, and other government materials remain subject to their applicable public-law status. These Terms do not restrict rights you may have in public legal materials.
We may maintain, modify, suspend, or discontinue features and may correct or update corpus material. We will use reasonable efforts to avoid material disruption and to give notice of changes that materially affect a paid subscription.
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for material breach, nonpayment, security risk, unlawful conduct, or misuse. Where practical, we will provide notice and an opportunity to cure. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will survive.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of accuracy, completeness, fitness for a particular purpose, noninfringement, or uninterrupted availability.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Dizon Strategies Inc. will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, lost profits, lost data, missed deadlines, or professional decisions arising from use of the Service. Our aggregate liability for a paid claim will not exceed the amount you paid for the Service during the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. Applicable law may provide rights that cannot be waived; those rights remain unaffected.
We may update these Terms and will post the revised effective date. If a material change applies during a paid term, we will provide reasonable notice. Questions may be sent to admin@territorialreview.org.
