Separation of Accounts
View official PDF ↗The Superior Court of Guam shall establish an account or accounts for the Judicial Client Services Fund, separate and apart from that of the government of Guam General Fund accounts, the Judicial Building Fund, and the existing accounts of the Superior Court. The new account or accounts established for the Fund together with the interest earned thereon shall be for the following activities:
(a)Appointment of Counsel of Indigent Defendants including, but not limited to, attorney fees, investigator fees, interpreter fees, expert fees, jury fees, and any other related expenses approved by the Superior Court of Guam or the Supreme Court of Guam;
(b)Law Enforcement Escort Costs;
(c)Operations of Erica’s House; and
(d)Language Assistance Services.
