Salary on Retirement for Disability or on Failure of Reappointment

(a)Any Judge holding office at the time of enactment of this Act, who is removed by I Maga’håga/Maga’låhi upon the sole ground of mental or physical disability or who fails reappointment, shall be entitled, upon relinquishing the office, if his or her judicial services aggregated fifteen

(15)years or more, to receive during the remainder of his or her life eighty-five (85%) of the salary he or she received when he or she relinquished the office. If his or her judicial service aggregated less than fifteen

(15)years but not less than ten

(10)years, he or she shall be entitled to receive, upon relinquishment of the office, during the remainder of his or her life fifty percent (50%) of the salary he or she received when he or she relinquished the office.

(b)Service at any time in any of the courts referred to in this section, or in any other court of Guam under appointment by I Maga’håga/Maga’låhi or by I Liheslatura, shall be included in the computation of aggregate years of judicial service for purposes of this section.
