Church Records As Evidence

Church records and/or registers, and/or entries therefrom, and/or certificates kept or issued by a clergyman or other person in accordance with law or in accordance with the rules, regulations and/or requirements of a religious denomination, society or a church, shall be competent evidence COL120106 DIV. 2 PRINCIPLES OF E VIDENCE CH. 4 WRITINGS of the facts recited therein, if properly proved, attested and authenticated as provided in § 4220, below.
