When a vacancy occurs other than by expiration of a member’s term, I Maga’hågan/Maga’låhen Guåhan shall fill the vacancy in accordance with §§ 63902 and 63904 of this Article if the remaining term of the vacancy exceeds six

(6)months. Appointments to fill a vacancy shall be for the remainder of the vacating member’s term and in the same category in items

(1)through

(5)of § 63904(a) pursuant to which the vacating member was appointed.
