Cattle Slaughtering for Food: Notice
View official PDF ↗No person shall slaughter or kill any cattle for food purposes unless he has secured a written permit from the Commissioner or Assistant Commissioner of the respective districts in Guam where the slaughtering occurs, within 24 hours of such slaughtering. Any person violating the provisions of this Section shall be guilty of a petty misdemeanor; Provided, however, that the provisions of this Section shall not apply to the slaughtering or killing of cattle to prevent waste, but notice of such slaughtering or killing must be made by the person doing so to the Commissioner or Assistant Commissioner of such district within 24 hours after such slaughtering or killing.
