Duration of Appointments

Any employment within the unclassified service of the government of Guam including autonomous and semi-autonomous agencies where no specific term of appointment or employment is specified in law shall be at the pleasure of the appointing authority. No employment agreement, however described, shall CH. 2 APPOINTMENTS TO OFFICE provide for any other term, nor shall such agreement prohibit the appointing authority from exercising its pleasure in terminating said employment agreement. Any terms in conflict with this Section in any employment agreement executed after the effective date of this Section shall be null and void from the beginning.
