Severability
View official PDF ↗If any part or parts of this Act are found to be inconsistent with the Constitution of the United States or the Organic Act of Guam, the remainder of the Act shall remain in force. If the Organic Act is replaced by a popularly developed Constitution, this Act shall be deemed to be reenacted pursuant to said Constitution. If said Constitution contains provisions dealing with initiative, referendum and legislative submission which are inconsistent with the provisions of this Act, 07312013 CH. 16 INITIATIVE, REFERNDUM AND LEGISLATIVE SUBMISSION this Act shall be deemed to be amended to conform to the Constitutional provisions.
