International Building Code Adopted
View official PDF ↗The International Building Code (IBC), 2009 edition, including Appendices C, E, F, G, H, I, J, and K, as published by the International Code Council, is hereby adopted and enacted as the building code for Guam. The IBC shall be recognized as the standard for the furtherance of the intent of Chapter 66, The Building Law, of this Title, which is to secure and promote the safety, health, and general welfare of the people of Guam by providing standards for the location, design, material, construction, alteration, repair, building service equipment, maintenance, use, occupancy, moving, removal, and demolition of buildings, structures and appurtenances thereto in Guam.
