Waiver of Use of Common Elements; Abandonment of
View official PDF ↗Apartment; Conveyance to Board of Directors. No apartment owner may exempt himself from liability for his contribution towards the common expenses by waiver of the use or enjoyment of any of the common elements or by abandonment of his apartment. Subject to such terms and conditions as may be specified in the bylaws, any apartment owner may, by conveying his apartment and his common interest to the Board of Directors on behalf of all other apartment owners, exempt himself from common expense thereafter accruing.
