2 GCA § 16103

Eligibility

In order for a student to be accepted into the PPI Program, the student shall submit an application provided by the Speaker and meet the following requirements:

(a)the student shall be a resident of Guam for the twelve

(12)months immediately preceding the start of the Program;

(b)the student shall have a cumulative grade point average of at least three point zero (3.0); COL5/8/2020 CH. 16 PUBLIC POLICY INSTITUTE PROGRAM

(c)the student shall be enrolled in an educational facility and have the credits equivalent to a high school sophomore or higher;

(d)the student shall submit a personal statement in addition to their application, which shall demonstrate strong writing and analytical skills, as well as a strong desire to be selected to the Program;

(e)the student shall submit a letter of recommendation from a school official and a government official or community leader; and

(f)the student shall submit a copy of their most recent report card or official transcript.
