Immunity from Liability
View official PDF ↗Any person, hospital, institution, school, facility or agency participating in good faith in the making of a report or testifying in any proceeding arising out of an instance of suspected child abuse or neglect, the taking of photographs or the removal or keeping of a child pursuant to § 13302 of the Child Protective Act shall have immunity from any liability, civil or criminal, that might otherwise result by reason of such actions. For the purpose of any proceeding, civil or criminal, the good faith of any person required to report cases of child abuse or neglect pursuant to § 13201 shall be presumed.
