Mandatory Reporting and Post-Mortem Investigation of Deaths
View official PDF ↗Any person or official required to report suspected child abuse or neglect who has reasonable cause to suspect that a child died as a result of child abuse or neglect shall report that fact to the chief medical examiner. The chief medical examiner shall accept the report for investigation and shall report his or her findings to the Guam Police Department, the Attorney General’s Office, Child Protective Services and, if the report is made by hospital personnel to the hospital.
