Prize Committee

There is hereby established the Prize Committee on the annual legislative scholastic prizes as established in this Chapter. Such committee shall consist of five

(5)members. The Chairman of the Committee on Education of the Legislature or his delegate shall serve as chairman, the four

(4)others to be appointed by the Speaker of the Legislature. The Prize Committee shall annually convene upon call of the chairman to determine the prizes and recipients thereof. The President of the University of Guam, the Director of Education, and the Superintendent of Catholic Schools shall serve ex officio as nonvoting members of the Committee and shall provide the Committee with assistance in the implementation of this Chapter.
