Freedom of Religion
View official PDF ↗The Board shall adopt no policy intended to encourage or abridge the freedom of religion guaranteed to the people by the Constitution and the Organic Act. This Section shall not be construed to prohibit the keeping within the public schools of the Bible and other sectarian materials for use in teaching, history, literature, art and other courses whose content may be related to such materials. This Section shall not be construed to deny students from organizing religiously-motivated clubs, associations or organizations, provided, however, that such activities are conducted under the same rules and regulations applied to other extracurricular activities.
