Guam Principal Corps Scholarship and Financial Assistance

(a)Students in the program must complete an application form provided by the School of Education and satisfy all the requirements set out in § 18101, supra. COL622016 CH. 18 YAMASHITA EDUCATOR CORPS
(b)a monthly allowance shall be paid to a person who is enrolled pursuant to the following schedule:
(1)Part-time students enrolled in at least six
(6)semester hours per semester, Two Hundred Dollars ($200.00) per month; full-time students enrolled in at least nine
(9)semester hours per semester, Three Hundred Dollars ($300.00) per month; full-time students enrolled in at least twelve
(12)semester hours per semester, Four Hundred Dollars ($400.00) per month; full-time students enrolled in at least fifteen
(15)semester hours per semester, Five Hundred Dollars ($500.00) per month.
(2)As a condition for continuing full entitlement to the benefits provided in this Chapter, recipients must maintain minimum of either a part-time enrollment of six
(6)semester credits per semester while working as a full-time teacher, or twelve
(12)semester hours as a fulltime student and good academic standing with a grade point average of 3.0 or better. No student may receive benefits beyond the number of calendar years normally required to complete such student's program.
(c)Registration, tuition, and other related fees normally assessed by the University and an allowance not to exceed the amount of Two Hundred Fifty Dollars ($250.00) shall be allowed per regular semester, and One Hundred Dollars ($100.00) per summer session in which a person is enrolled to cover costs of textbooks and supplies.
