Transportation of Persons for Hire: Insurance Required

No vehicle shall be operated upon the highways of Guam for the transportation of persons for hire unless such vehicle is insured under general or public liability policy of insurance issued by a qualified insurance company for a minimum coverage of Ten Thousand Dollars ($10,000.00) to Twenty Thousand Dollars ($20,000.00) for personal injury and Five Thousand Dollars ($5,000.00) property damage. The owner of any vehicle operated or used for the transportation of persons for hire shall be held responsible for compliance with this Section.
