Same: Rates and Charges

Every person who owns or has control over any taxicab shall assess passengers for hire the following rates, fares or charges for services rendered by means of such taxicab: Description New Rate FLAG DOWN RATE (good for first 1/2 mile) $2.40 EVERY ADDITIONAL 1/4 MILE $0.80 FIRST MILE $4.00 WAITING TIME, EVERY 2 MINUTES $0.80 The foregoing schedule of fares and charges shall be posted pursuant to the provisions of § 11102 of this Chapter; provided, however, that the Director of Revenue and Taxation shall retain authority to adopt a schedule of taxicab fares pursuant to § 11105 of this Chapter if such fares are not less than those established in this Section.
