Setting Account for Settlement; Notice; Distribution After

Settlement. When an account is rendered for settlement, the Clerk of the Superior Court shall set the same for settlement by the Superior Court, COL120106 CH. 27 ACCOUNTING AND PAYMENT OF DEBTS and notice thereof shall be given in the manner provided in Section 3401 of this Title. If the account is for final settlement, and a petition for final distribution of the estate is filed with the account, the notice of settlement must so state, and on the settlement of the account, distribution of the estate to those entitled thereto may be had immediately, without further notice or proceedings.
