COL120106 CH. 26 INVENTORY AND APPRAISEMENT If any person embezzles, conceals, smuggles, or fraudulently disposes of any property of a decedent, he is chargeable therewith, and liable to an action by the personal representative of the estate for double the value of the property, to be recovered for the benefit of the estate.
