Limitation on Default Charges
View official PDF ↗The agreement with respect to a sale for which credit service charge ceilings are set by § 2602 (certain sales to individuals) may not provide for any charges as a result of default by the buyer except for reasonable attorneys' fees and reasonable expenses incurred in realizing on a security interest, and charges that could have been made had the sale been a consumer credit sale. An agreement in violation of this Section is void.
