Additional Charges
View official PDF ↗(1)In addition to the credit service charge permitted by this Article, the parties to the sale agreement may contract for the payment by the buyer of the following additional charges in connection with a consumer credit sale:
(a)official fees;
(b)charges for insurance; and
(c)charges for other benefits conferred on the buyer, if the benefits are of value to him apart from the granting of the credit and the charges are reasonable in relation to the benefits.
(2)The Administrator may adopt rules determining whether charges are additional charges pursuant to paragraph
(c)of subsection (1).
