Treasurer, Comptroller, Attorney

(a)The Board may also appoint a treasurer, a comptroller and an attorney, all of whom shall serve at the pleasure of the Board. Their duties and compensation shall be fixed by the Board. Compensation for the comptroller shall not be limited by Title 4 GCA § 6103 or other laws which may conflict herewith. The Board may appoint one

(1)assistant to any such office. Any of the said offices may be consolidated into one

(1)person.

(b)The Treasurer shall have custody of all monies of the Authority, and shall pay out such money only in accordance with the directions of the Board or as provided by Article 2 of this Chapter. The Board shall, however, appoint the Administrator of the Guam Economic Development and Commerce Authority or any agent designated by him as its trustee for the payment of bonds issued by it and for any related purposes as the Board may provide.

(c)The Attorney, who must have been admitted to the practice of law in Guam, shall advise the Board and the Executive Director on all legal matters to which the Authority is a party or in which the Authority is legally interested, and may represent the Authority in connection with legal matters before I Liheslatura, boards and other agencies of Guam or of the United States. The Attorney for the Authority shall represent the Authority in litigation concerning the affairs of the Authority.
