Duties

The Board shall:

(a)Prepare and submit to the Commission appropriate standards for the physical and mental examination of contestants. No standard is effective until it is approved by the Commission. The Commission shall ensure that applicable tests for HIV/AIDS, TB, and other communicable diseases, and the mandatory requirement of a CT scan, are included in the standards to be promulgated and approved.

(b)Recommend to the Commission for licensing, physicians who are qualified to examine contestants.

(c)Advise the Commission as to the physical or mental fitness of a contestant, if it so requests.
