Unarmed Combatant Defined

(a)Unarmed combatant means any person who engages in unarmed combat in a contest or exhibition, whether or not the person receives remuneration.

(b)The term includes, without limitation:

(1)A contestant; and

(2)An amateur boxer who:

(A)Is registered with the Guam Amateur Boxing organization recognized by the Guam National Olympic Committee and the International Boxing Association (AIBA); and

(B)Any contestant who has participated in a competition promoted as a professional event or competes against a professional contestant regardless of remuneration or not, shall not be allowed to compete in amateur unarmed competitions.

(c)The term does not include a person who participates in a contest or exhibition that is exempt from the provisions of this Chapter. ---------ARTICLE 2 MEDICAL ADVISORY BOARD
