Fees

The Director shall collect for each annual inspection of a scale, weight or measure before the sealing of the same and deliver to the owner, a certificate of its accuracy, a fee as established in the schedule of fees promulgated under the provisions of this Chapter. The Director shall collect the appropriate fee for any other service rendered by the Department under the provisions of this Chapter and shall deposit such funds in the General Fund of fees collected pursuant to this Section. The fees shall be as follows: Scales Fee 01 to 30 lbs 31 to 100 lbs 101 to 501 lbs 501 to 2,000 lbs 2001 to 5,000 lbs 5001 to 10,000 lbs Over 10,000 lbs $ 4.00 $ 6.00 $ 8.00 $13.00 $25.00 $35.00 $40.00 Dry or Liquid Measures Less than 1 gallon 1 to 5 gallons $ 4.00 $10.00 Lineal Measures Inspectors Salary per hour $10.00 Taxi Calibration Taximeter $20.00
