Continuance

The court may, for good cause, order a continuance of up to forty-eight

(48)hours or, if this period ends on a Saturday, Sunday or holiday, to the end of the next day on which the court is open. The continuance shall extend COL622016 CH. 82A ASSISTED OUTPATIENT TREATMENT the emergency treatment/observation period or any temporary treatment order until the time of the hearing.
