Qualifications of a Registered Nurse

(a)An applicant for a license as a registered nurse shall submit to the Board written, verified, evidence that the applicant is a graduate of an approved nursing education program that is authorized to prepare a person for licensure as a registered nurse.

(b)No handicapped candidate, as defined in federal or Guam law, otherwise qualified shall be deprived of the opportunity to take the State Board Test Pool Examination solely by reason of that handicap. Such a candidate is requested to submit a completed application at least one hundred twenty-five

(125)days in advance of the scheduled examination date to facilitate the necessary modification of the testing service; provided, however, that if such candidate does not complete the application by the prescribed time, the Board shall be required to make only those modifications to the testing service as time permits.
