Coach Harold “Hal” Shiroma Football Field, Dededo

(a)Renaming Wettengel Football Field. Wettengel Football Field, located in the municipality of Dededo, Guam, shall hereafter be known as the “Coach Harold ‘Hal’ S. Shiroma Football Field.”

(b)Name Change, Statutory References. Any provisions in the statutes referencing the Wettengel Football Field is amended to read: Coach Harold “Hal” S. Shiroma Football Field.

(c)Signs and Formal Designation of Coach Harold “Hal” S. Shiroma Football Field. I Maga’hågan/Maga’låhen Guåhan, the Director of the Department of Parks and Recreation, the Mayor, the Vice-Mayor and the members of the Dededo Municipal Planning Council shall cause to be erected appropriate nameplates or signs designating the Wettengel Football Field as the Coach Harold “Hal” S. Shiroma Football Field.

(d)Further, at such ceremony as I Maga’hågan/Maga’låhen Guåhan, the Director of the Department of Parks and Recreation, the Mayor, the Vice-Mayor and the members of the Dededo Municipal Planning Council deem appropriate, said Coach Harold “Hal” S. Shiroma Football Field shall be officially named, CH. 8 GOVERNMENT FACILITIES and a plaque bearing the name, picture and brief history of the contributions of the Late Coach Harold “Hal” S. Shiroma shall be affixed within a suitable spot on or above the designated area.
