Gubernatorial Inauguration Day

The first Monday in January of every fourth year, beginning with January 1971, is a designated Gubernatorial Inauguration Day, on which day I Maga’hågan/Maga’låhen Guåhan and I Sigundo Maga’hågan/Maga’låhen Guåhan elected in the general election preceding such day shall be sworn into office. The inauguration shall be arranged by I Maga’hågan/Maga’låhen Guåhan-elect’s Transition Committee, which shall coordinate its planning with the incumbent I Maga’hågan/Maga’låhen Guåhan.
