9 GCA § 70.25
Animal Abuse
View official PDF ↗(a)A person commits the crime of Animal Abuse if, except as otherwise authorized by § 70.65 of this Article, the person intentionally, knowingly, recklessly, or with criminal negligence:
(1)causes physical injury to an animal;
(2)causes serious physical injury to an animal; or
(3)causes the death of an animal.
(b)Animal Abuse under Subsection (a)(1) of this Section is a misdemeanor. Animal Abuse under Subsection (a)(2) or (a)(3) of this Section is a third degree felony.
(c)Each act or omission in violation of Subsection
(a)of this Section shall constitute a separate offense.
