Transshipment and In-Transit Shipment of Controlled Substances
View official PDF ↗Notwithstanding §§ 67.601, 67.602 and 67.605 of this Act:
(a)A controlled substance listed in Schedule I of the Act, may:
(1)be imported into Guam for transshipment to another country, provided the controlled substance does not remain on Guam for more than seventy-two
(72)hours and all necessary security controls are provided to prevent theft; or
(2)be transferred or transshipped from one
(1)vessel or aircraft to another vessel or aircraft within Guam for immediate exportation if and only if it is so imported, transferred or transshipped
(A)for scientific, medical or other legitimate purposes in the country of destination and
(B)with the prior written approval of Attorney General, which shall be granted or denied within thirty
(30)days of the request.
(b)A controlled substance listed in Schedules II, III or IV of this Act may be so imported, transferred or transshipped if and only if advance notice is given to the Attorney General in accordance with rules of the Attorney General.
