How Surety May be Exonerated; Deposit Sum With

Clerk. A person released pursuant to this Chapter on the condition that an appearance bond secured by a qualified surety be furnished, may, at any time before declaration of forfeiture, deposit with the clerk of the court a sum equal to the amount of the bond, and upon the deposit being made the surety on such bond is exonerated.
