Collection of Hotel Room Taxes
View official PDF ↗The Government shall impose, levy, enforce and collect Hotel Room Taxes (or may, in its sole and absolute discretion, but shall not be obligated to, pay into the Revenue Fund moneys from any other source) in an aggregate amount within each Bond Year at least sufficient to pay and provide for the sum of:
(1)an aggregate amount equal to at least one hundred twenty-five percent (125%) of Annual Debt Service for such Bond Year; plus
(2)an aggregate amount equal to the amounts required to be deposited in the Rebate Fund during such Bond Year pursuant to § 5.08, plus the amount of Bond Expenses estimated by the Trustee to be payable during such Bond Year; plus
(3)such amounts as may be required pursuant to this Indenture (and any Supplemental Indenture for the issuance of Bonds of any additional Series) to build up or maintain the Bond Reserve Fund at the Bond Reserve Fund Requirement. The Government further covenants and agrees that all such Hotel Room Taxes shall be payable in such coin or currency of COL4/6/2022 CH. 22 GENERAL FISCAL POLICIES AND CONTROLS the United States of America as at the time of payment is legal tender for the payment of public and private debts.
