Prior Service Credit: Subsequent Service in an International or Regional Organization

(a)Any employee who shall have been employed by the government of Guam for a period of ten

(10)years or more and who is a member of the Fund, who is appointed for a position within an international or regional organization of governments under the United Nations system and who has not terminated membership in the Fund, may be allowed credit for such service, provided that the individual pays to the Fund during the years for which he or she claims credit as an international or regional employee the employer and employee contributions which he or she would have paid had employment been with the government of Guam, together with regular interest thereon from the date on which such contributions would have been made had such service not been with the international or regional organization to the date of actual payment.

(b)This Section shall apply to all persons who are employed by an international or regional organization under the United Nations system since 1990.
