Financial Assistance Eligibility

Financial assistance may be awarded by the AMTE Council to eligible students enrolled in the Pre-Medical Program at the University who are:

(a)Bona fide residents of Guam for at least ten

(10)years;

(b)Citizens or permanent residents of the United States;

(c)Seniors or graduates of an accredited high school with an overall grade point average of not less than 3.0 on a 4.0 scale;

(d)Admitted to the University of Guam in accordance with its admission policies, including advance placement for high school students; COL 110609 CH. 47 PRE-MEDICAL PROGRAMS AND F ELLOWSHIPS

(e)Agreed and bound to return to Guam to practice medicine or work in a health service field after successfully completing his or her medical training.
