Advanced Life Support Program

There is hereby established, within the Guam Fire COL10/29/2021 CH. 72 GUAM FIRE DEPARTMENT Department, the ‘Advanced Life Support Program’, which shall provide at least the following services:

(a)Basic life support assessment and intervention;

(b)Medical impression or diagnosis;

(c)Manual defibrillation, electrocardiogram

(ECG)interpretation;

(d)Intubation services;

(e)Administration of intravenous medication;

(f)Medical control, through drug administration, to include narcotics and standing orders;

(g)Diagnostic service, to include pulse oximetry and glucose testing;

(h)Differential diagnosis; and

(i)Life-saving services identified by the Guam Fire Department as essential to the success of the Program.
