Requirements for Vehicles
View official PDF ↗(a)The Guam Police Department shall establish an annual list of vehicles which it finds are acceptable for use and compensation under this statute. Each vehicle on said list must have at least a six cylinder engine, a wheel base of at least 100 inches, tires which do not exceed ten inches in width, a driver side airbag, four sets of properly working seat belts and a gasoline engine. All of the features required by this section must be maintained in good working order for the police officer using the vehicle to receive compensation. The Department may establish additional reasonable requirements for vehicles authorized by this section.
(b)Vehicles authorized by this section may have tinted windows but must be in compliance with police regulations in regards to marked police vehicles.
(c)No vehicle authorized by this section may have a non-official bumper sticker, poster, placard or painted design on its exterior.
