Last Resort for Medical Services
View official PDF ↗The Medically Indigent Program is intended to be the last resort for the provision of medical services for those persons who cannot pay for medical services. Therefore, a person with medical insurance must refer claims to that person’s insurance company first, before the bills can be submitted to the Medically Indigent Program. Those services provided by Federal or other Guam Programs shall be utilized first, in order that the Medically Indigent Program is the payor of last resort.
